I have been working on these dolls for a long time and I have become quite attached to them! They are ONE OF A KIND and unlikely to be repeated exactly .They are also COPYRIGHTED AS MY WORK and may not be reproduced in any way .All rights reserved .
Most of the dolls have been stained to age and then handpainted-thier faces have been decorated in several different mediums and then sealed .Where I have used Antique fabrics / Lace and flowers , I have used them as is- so there may be very slight stains -these do not deter from the appearence of the doll . The hair is Tibetan wool unless I state otherwise.

AYANNA and ZURI
AYANNA means 'A Mother's Love'( Ethiopia ) she is 26 inches . .The arms and fingers are wired and can be posed . I made her dress from Vintage feed sacks -her underpinnings are hand dyed Muslin .I made the beads for her necklace from Polymer clay and added a focal Freshwater pearl and vintage bone beads .
Her little one ZURI( African name meaning-Beautiful) is 11 inches- her arms are also wired . I made her dress from recycled hand dyed jersey .

Malaika-Angel
Malaika(African name means -Angel) is 11 inches .Her dress is made of a Gorgeous cream Victorian embroidered cotton -probably was originally a child's petticoat - the underskirt is part of very fancy soft coral Antique gown that I bought in an old old Antique shop in Virginia .The dress is belted with lovely hand dyed seam binding . Vintage flowers and thread adorn her hair . She does not sit .The wings are made of white feathers .

This sweet doll is 23 inches .The hair is auburn sheep's wool -I made the aliceband with Vintage Hydraenga and velvet daisy flowers. The dress bodice is made of a lovely piece taken from a Victorian dress.All the clothing has been hand dyed .The painted shoes are finished with little Antique pearl buttons .The arms are wired .
